Have you ever just had your world as you know it just stop? If you have then you know that you immediately fall into a state of confusion. You can’t seem to understand what happened, or why it’s happening.
Weather it a person, a spouse, or a job or even a ministry you were call in. You put you whole self into these people or places. You trusted everything about it, you loved what you were doing and the people who were with you.
Now you are hurt and your trust has been broken! I have to question if maybe you and me are putting all these things before the Lord even though you say you are doing them for Him?
Sometime we get so busy that we are trying to please others more than pleasing God. Then our flesh nature says to get angry, and to strike out(even at God…because Lord I did this for you) or maybe just go away and act like you just don’t care.
But the Spirit who is alive in you says get up…hold up your head….put the hurt out of your mind….and trust me.
God may close one door….and just maybe it was to protect you from even greater hurt. When you trust in the King of Kings and walk with Him he will open doors that you never imagine. So wipe away the tears, stand, forgive and trust in the one who will never let you down.
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.
Psalm 118:8 It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man
